Dignity Funeral Homes

Elizabeth Turk is one of those MUST MEET people! Her compassion and enthusiasm for her craft is beyond words. She has the ability to capture the essence of a person with just a few short minutes of your time; although you will want to spend hours talking with her. Her eyes and smile says it all, her heart is out there for all to see and feel. Elizabeth, keep doing what you do so well.

To Whom lt May Concern,

I am writing this letter in the hopes that anyone who has the opportunity of needing an officiant for either a wedding or funeral contact Reverend Elizabeth Turk.

¡ We were lucky enough to have her recommended to our funeral home and we try to get her to officiate services at every opportunity. She takes the time to meet with the families, to really get to learn about the decedent, so that when you walk out after a ·service she officiated you feel like she really knew the person. Our client families just love her.

In the ever changing funeral industry, we have evolved from somber church services to more of the "celebrating" of a life well lived type of gathering. _Reverend Elizabeth has become a great asset for us funeral directors to use in giving our families the very best in the celebrating that their loved one deserves.

We are lucky to have found this true gem!

Rev. Elizabeth Turk is so in tune with what you want for the eulogy of your loved one. She did my mother-in-law's eulogy for us and it was touching but uplifting at the same time. She listened intently to what I told her and incorporated everything into the eulogy, even researching independently to add to the message. Everyone walked away from the service as if touched by an angel (which I think we were). I highly recommend her services!

Bob Butera

The Banana Factory

Dear Pastor Turk

My name is Bob Butera (better known as “Banana Bob”). I recently attended the funeral of a long time friend, Jerry Jalas, which you officiated. I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated the fine eulogy you gave. It was such a thoughtful and meaningful presentation depicting Jerry’s life journey. Your genuineness and professionalism made a mournful day something more: a reflection and celebration of the man we called our friend. I would like to stay in touch with you and possibly someday have you give my eulogy, as I would love nothing more than for my friends and family to feel comfort and to celebrate my life… when the day comes… ervices!

To Whom It May Concern:

It is without hesitation that I write a letter of recommendation for Reverend Elizabeth Turk even though I did not know of her or meet her until the day of my husband’s Celebration of Life at Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home on April 2, 2016.

Since we were not members of a local church and needed to select someone to conduct the service, the funeral director highly recommended Reverend Turk based upon previous accolades by their clients. Consequently, an interview was scheduled over the telephone with my daughter and me one Sunday afternoon that lasted over an hour. The questions she asked about my husband opened up a dialog between the three of us that resulted in a most personal, delightful celebration that many of our guests had never witnessed before. This was confirmed by many phone calls and emails asking “where did we find her and what an awesome service, the best they had ever attended.” In the service, her expression of faith and love, my husband’s professional, personal life along with his golfing experiences (even playing his favorite music to enhance her dialogue) enlightened our guests to the real Dick Mitchell.

I highly recommend Reverend Elizabeth Turk to anyone that wishes to have a perfect Celebration of Life to help ease the pain of losing a loved one, whether one at a young age or one that has lived their lives to the fullest at any age.
